The proceedings of the 1st International Scientific Conference “Science and Innovation: Current Challenges and Future Perspectives” (October 16–17, 2026, Lyon, France) include scientific papers covering a wide range of contemporary research fields. The presented studies explore the digitalization of administrative activities within the National Police of Ukraine, procedural aspects of notifying individuals of suspicion in criminal proceedings, the legal status and protection of domestic animals under martial law, challenges in applying international humanitarian law to modern armed conflicts, comparative analysis of Bluetooth Low Energy and NFC technologies for access control systems, innovative approaches to LED luminaire design, transient processes in electric drive systems, forensic examination of fish roe, student learning motivation and value orientations, the psychological effects of technological dependence among adolescents, psychological adaptability of military leaders, methodological approaches to studying existentialist literature, linguistic challenges in translating English and German expressions into Ukrainian, as well as digital solutions for preserving Ukraine’s cultural heritage during wartime.
